Hydromagic Survey release notes - version 2024

Build 11.0.24.222

  • The software now supports multi transducer setups. You can now record and edit data from up to 8 dual frequency transducers;
  • Water quality can be monitored by recording up to 12 parameters. At this moment sensors with ASCII or ModBus RTU interface are supported;
  • A new graph editor allows you to edit GNSS elevation, motion, temperature and sensor data;
  • New plugin to control Hydromagic features or autopilots with a Xbox game controller;
  • Improvements for displaying on high DPI displays (work in progress);
  • When a transducer isn't mounted vertically (tilted) you can specify tilt angles in the vessel designer to use ray tracing;
  • The instant cross section tool can now be used with up to three matrices simultaneously;
  • When the sounding wizard generates a report of the conversion progress, it will now list transducer, GNSS and motion sensor offsets;
  • New echo sounder display, allows you to graph up to 8 dual frequency transducer depths;
  • The vessel designer now contains a separate window pane where transducer, sensor, GNSS and motion sensor offsets can be defined;
  • The digitizer window is now resize-able to using the mouse and can be used full-screen;
  • In soundings, the GNSS quality indicator now has its own field instead of using sensor data #1;
  • The inspect ping dialog now shows GNSS quality as a textual value as well as the water and air temperature (when available);
  • Added a time span tool to the sounding wizard which allows you to remove raw data outside a specified time span;
  • Raw data import option for "Deeper TM" CSV files added to the raw data import wizard;
  • In plugins offering TCP/IP communication, you can now choose between "UDP Server" and "UDP Client" mode;
  • Improved the cross section statistics tool with new algorithms to detect sounding crossings near section crossings;
  • The USV alarm functionality has been extended with system temperature for the CEE-USV;
