Heading and attitude indicators

The heading and attitude indicators can be added to the Hydromagic navigation screen as dockable windows. They can help with navigation or to check whether your heading and / or motion sensor is working correctly. To add these indicators to your main screen, no additional plugin or download is required.


Activating the heading indicator

The heading indicator display can be activated by selecting the "Compass" option from "View" => "Instruments" menu. The heading (or compass) display will be displayed on its default locationsand can be placed or docked in the preferred position. This position will be stored, so it will be in the same place the next time you start the software, it will also use the stored position when you deactivate(hide) and re-activate(show) this indicator again.

Select the compass option from the instruments menu.
Select the "Compass" option from the "View" => "Instruments" menu.


Activating the attitude indicator

The attitude indicator display can be activated by selecting the "Attitude" option from "View" => "Instruments" menu. The attitude display will be displayed on its default location and can be placed or docked in the preferred position. This position will be stored, so it will be in the same place the next time you start the software, It will also use the stored position when you deactivate(hide) and re-activate(show) this indicator again.

Select the attitude option from the instruments menu.
Select the "Attitude" option from the "View" => "Instruments" menu.
