March 7, 2024 - Eye4Software Software today released Eye4Software Hydromagic 2024
Today, Eye4Software B.V. is proud to announce, that the latest version of their professional hydrographic survey package, Hydromagic version 2024, has been released to the public. The main purpose of this software is to map the bottom of rivers, reservoirs, frac pits, ponds, and oceans in 3D. This is done using a connected GNSS (RTK) receiver together with a hydrographic echo sounder.
Using various post processing options, the processed sounding data can be used to generate bathymetric maps, depth contours, XYZ data to export to other processing software, multiple types of volume reports and much more. Our software is known to be user friendly, easy to learn and low cost compared to other hydrographic survey software packages around. The software is in use by dredging, mining operations and survey companies around the world.
In this new 2024 version we added three key features: The software can now be used with multiple (up to eight) dual frequency transducers giving you a denser coverage when surveying an area. At this moment this feature can only be used with the Unabara Z-Sweep system. The new feature also includes data editing for multiple transducer setups. This version allows you to perform water quality surveys. It is now possible to record up to 12 sensor values from water quality or other environmental sensors. Recorded sensor data can be edited using a graph editor and using the Sounding Wizard, it can be processed into a regular sounding which can be used to generate a DTM or contour map.Using the new Xbox controller plugin, you can control some functions of the software (start or stop recording, moving the map, or selecting the next section) with an Xbox game controller. I addition to Hydromagic functions, it can also be used to steer your USV, making a dedicated RC transmitter obsolete.
