View Processed Echograms
After sounding(s) has been completed and processed using the "Sounding Wizard", it is possible to show the echogram and the associated water column (when available). Using the toolbar, you can switch between the low and high frequency sounding data. You can also export the echogram and water column images as image files.
To show the echogram window for processed soundings, make sure the "Project Explorer" is visible and locate the sounding to view under the "Soundings" folder. Right click the sounding you want to show, and select the "Show Echogram..." option from the popup menu as shown below:

The Sounding Echogram Window
The "Sounding Echogram Window" is divided in two parts. In the top half of the window, the echogram will be displayed (both low and high frequency sounding data when available), and the water column data (when available) is displayed in the lower section.
In this example both the echogram and water column data are displayed.
Sounding Echogram Window Toolbar
The toolbar can be used to zoom or pan the echogram data, or to toggle frequency and customize the way the echogram is displayed. The toolbar does contain the following buttons with their respective functions:
- Pan to start - moves the echogram display to the start of the data.
- Pan to left - moves the echogram display to the left.
- Pan to right - moves the echogram display to the right.
- Pan to end - moves the echogram display to the start of the data.
- Zoom in - zooms in on the echogram data.
- Zoom out - zooms out on the echogram data.
- Zoom all - scales echogram data to fit the display.
- Toggle frequency - toggles the water column data between high and low frequency.
- Preferences - Opens the preferences window where you can select range and color palette.
- Export - Opens the tool to export the echogram as image file(s).
- Print - Allows you to send the echogram or water column to a printer or PDF file.
The toolbar can be used to zoom or pan data, or to alter display settings.
