Raw Data Tools - Time Span Filter Tool

The "Time Span Filter Tool" can be used to remove data from a single raw data file by specifying a time span. All data inside this time span will be deleted. This can be useful when data was recorded during alarm condition, and when you did not specify to pause the recording, or in case you just forgot to stop a recording and false data was recorded. Please note that when using this tool, all types of data records are deleted in the specified time range.

The "Time Span Filter Tool" is part of the "Sounding Wizard" and can be found on the " raw data processing tools page". To start the "Time Span Filter Tool", click the "Span..." button in the "Time Span" section as shown below:

Filter Data

To apply a filter, make sure that you enter the exact starting and ending time of the data. Use the 'Select...' button to choose the raw data file(s) to apply the time filter on. After applying the time span filter on one or more raw data files, the changes are saved in the 'Modified' raw data folder. This does not affect your original survey data.
