Yes you can, in Hydromagic we call them "Sections" because these lines can also be used to create cross sections used in volume calculation.
These "Sections" can also be used to guide you during the survey. When your vessels heading is known, and a section is selected, you can even use the LR-indicator or helmsman display for easy steering.
Planned survey lines can be created manually, you can create parallel lines automatically, or import lines from an AutoCAD DXF file.
